Travel has always lit something up in me. So has helping people. For a long time, they felt like two separate passions. But over the years, I realized they were never meant to be separate.
She Dares to Wander was born from that realization.
I created this because I know what it feels like to crave more. More connection. More depth. More purpose. More friendships. I wanted a space where women could gather in small, intimate groups and experience the world in a way that actually changes us — not just our scenery, but our hearts.
That’s why every single journey we take includes a hands-on volunteering or give-back experience. It’s not something extra we tack on. It’s part of who we are. When we visit a place, we show up with humility. We learn. We listen. We serve local women, children, and families in ways that are meaningful and respectful.
Because I never want us to just pass through a destination.
I want us to connect to it.
This isn’t just women traveling together.
It’s women choosing to use our presence for good.
And somehow, we always leave with more than we came with.
If you’ve been feeling that pull to see more of the world and do some good along the way, I’d love to have you join us.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Bali with the She Dares to Wander humanitarian group.
The women I traveled with were beautiful inside and out. We all came from different walks of life. But we came together for something bigger than ourselves.
For me, getting there was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done.
I traveled thousands of miles away from home alone for the first time. I left the country to meet a group of women I had never met in person. Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone!!
It quickly went from the scariest to best decision ive made in my lifetime.
We went to Bali with the intention of giving, helping, and serving. but I came home realizing how much Bali gave to me in return.
It wasn’t special to me because of the beaches, the scenery, or the places you see in photographs.
It was special because of the souls who inhabit it.
I have never met so many talented, hardworking, honest, generous, and genuinely kind people in one place. People who welcomed us with open arms, shared their stories with us, laughed with us, taught us, and reminded me how deeply connected human beings can become despite living completely different lives on opposite sides of the world. People come to Bali and see the beaches, the sunsets, the luxury resorts, and beautiful villas. They see that it looks like paradise.
But theres also people who quietly struggle to put food on the table. Many who cannot afford proper medical care. Families who need bare necessities.
That is the part of Bali I wish more people could see.
Behind every beautiful travel photo are real people, real families, real communities, and stories that deserve to be heard.
I went across the world hoping I could make even a small difference in someone else’s life.

Today one of my friends asked me if going to Bali was worth it. I told her it exceeded my expectations and was the best decision I ever made. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know all of you amazing women, to experience Bali and to give back. It's an experience I will never forget. Thank you for being such an amazing host, Marjon!! I'm so glad you decided to change careers because She Dares to Wander is so so special.

100% it was one of the best not just trips it was one of the best experiences of my lifetime thus far. I met amazing women who I am still friends with. I feel very blessed for not only going on this amazing adventure and helping out (which I thank my family & friends for their generosity) such a meaningful cause…causes saving dogs and cats and making changes in those beautiful children’s lives in Cambodia but blessed to have met such wonderful women, that I now call my friends. And I was extremely nervous about going, that is not exaggerated. but I am so happy that I fought my fears and I did it. Sometimes you have to do the uncomfortable to get the good things out of life and that’s definitely one of them. I am proud of myself as well for doing it. I know that I’m going to do it again and I’ll probably be nervous and anxious about it still but I will do it again and hopefully as early as this November, but if not, I will be going with you again Marjon I promise you that because I really enjoyed this adventure and it really touched my heart and I have you to thank for it.
You are exceptionally good at what you do. It’s not just the planning of the trips which takes a lot with booking hotels and flights and tour guides and meeting up with the organizations that you’re helping out you give your whole heart and soul into what you do because it really means everything to you. You’re literally very passionate about it.

I had the privilege of traveling to Cambodia with Marjon. To say it was life changing is an understatement. From the moment I decided to join the group of ladies my life changed. Every moment of this trip taught me something new about myself with a bonus of making new friends. With Marjon’s guidance in planning every detail of the trip I was able to enjoy everything Cambodia had to offer and step out of my comfort zone. Meeting the Cambodian people, visiting the temples, watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat will forever be etched in my mind. The highlight of this trip was meeting the wonderful kids at the orphanage. Thank you She Dares to Wander and Marjon for planning a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend this organization.

I did the Cambodia trip with Marjon and would absolutely recommend it! Everything was planned perfectly. The hotel is adorable and has great service and our guide Bunhak was fantastic. I have always wanted to see Angkor Wat and getting the chance to do that while meeting all of the kids that Marjon helps made for a meaningful trip. You won't regret taking this journey with her!

I had an amazing experience in Guatemala with She Dares to Wander. Everything was planned so well...the tours, the hotel, transportation, etc. The host was extremely friendly and so helpful with the whole process including helping me with the flight selection. If traveling the world with an amazing group of women is on your bucket list I highly recommend She Dares to Wander. 100% satisfied customer
